Le Night Flight
A newcomer in the Experimental Group squadron (Le Ballroom, Experimental Cocktail Club, etc.), Night Flight, the bar at the Hôtel Bachaumont, is an intimate post-70s lounge with a marble fireplace, bronze sofas, mahogany walls and a spot-on cocktail list. In addition to all the classics, there’s no fewer than nine house creations paying homage to Saint Exupéry: the Petit Prince (Christian Drouin calvados, poiré, ginger syrup and Old Fashioned bitters, €14), the Aviateur (cinnamon-infused Cuatro Gallos pisco, Velvet Falernum liqueur, homemade orgeat syrup, Créole bitters), etc. For a high-flying virgin cocktail, count on spending around €10. On fine weather days, the bar overflows onto a quiet street and you can order appetizers from the hotel restaurant at cocktail hour. // A.B.
