Brought to us by Marc Bonneton (the owner of Antiquaire on rue Hippolyte-Flandrin), this discreet little spot, all black and copper tones, serves expertly crafted drinks. Gone off to pursue new adventures, the bartender Frank Dedieu (winner of the Bacardi Legacy Global Cocktail Competition in 2015) left his mark on the fine cocktail menu, taken over by the Scottish mixologist, Callum Murray (ex-Antiquaire). Saline, sweet and sharp, the Latin, a sort of dirty daïquiri (rum, olive brine, lime, viognier) gets things off to a good start. Other surprising options include the Tomato Seeds (tomato syrup, vodka, lemon, aniseeds) and the Green Highball and Hashtag #1, two creations made with ginger beer and freshly squeezed lemon, one with gin and cucumber, the other, alcohol-free, with coconut water and orange blossoms. Cocktails €10-12, mocktails €7, Brooklyn Lager or BrewDog €7. The only problem: there’s nothing interesting to snack on. // A.S.
