THE STORY: By pairing up with the architect Vincent Bastie for the Hôtel Original, the designer Stella Cadente invites you into her poetic and malicious world, filled with references to fairy tales and a fantastical take on the Middle Ages, Cocteau or Jacques Demy-style. We check in under a “bush” of mauve LED lights, facing a fresco that depicts the edge of an enchanted forest. The beds are padded with satin, the bathrooms decked out with “mermaid scale” mosaics, the long filaments of the medusa lamps sparkle. A “contemporary boudoir” feeling, girly but sexy kitsch, like in this room with escarpin decals… Single mansard rooms €199 (€139 in the off-season), doubles €249 (€159 in the off-season).

LITTLE LUXURY: The room for families with three beds, and décor straight out of a Lewis Carroll story (from €275 to €400, according to the season).
