THE STORY: We’ve been waiting four years for this! After London and Amsterdam, the British hotel group Ennismore opened up The Hoxton in Paris, inside the former Rivié hôtel particulier (18th century), a stone’s throw from the Grands Boulevards. Bringing together Parisian classicism (mouldings, herringbone hardwood floors), industrial touches (Gras lamps, an atelier-style glass wall) and a 1950s feel (Formica, furniture inspired by the work of Prouvé and Matégo), the 171 bedrooms designed by the Cabinet Humbert & Poyet get divvied up into four categories: Shoebox (13-17 m2), Cosy (17-21 m2), Roomy (19-30 m2) and Biggy (23-36 m2), ranging in price from €99 to €599 a night. In addition to multiple conference rooms and a real kitchen, the hotel also boasts numerous indoor terraces, a big restaurant with an open-air patio, le Rivié, and a cocktail bar, le Jacques, brilliantly designed by the very chic Soho House private member’s club.

TOILETRIES: BI_NK soap, shampoo and shower gel.
BREAKFAST: A breakfast bag (with yogurt, granola, a banana and orange juice) is placed free of charge outside your door every morning. But you can also eat breakfast at the Rivié restaurant (homemade granola with honey and vegetal milk yogurt, €9, smoked salmon with toast and scrambled eggs, €15).
MINI-BAR: Yes, with water and milk provided free of charge. And you can buy drinks and snacks at the Lobby Shop, for the same prices you would pay at the supermarket.
LITTLE LUXURY: The numerous common spaces (patio, lobby, restaurant, bar, mezzanine, winter garden…), which are often spectacular, perfect for chilling out in style while taking advantage of the free wifi.
