Back in the 1930s, André Pic decided to open a restaurant near the Nationale 7 highway…. These days, the illustrious Anne-Sophie pays homage to the family saga in this chic bistro (blonde wooden furniture, black leather chairs, a terrace with camellias in full bloom) that’s attached to the fine dining restaurant. What should you expect? Her grandfather’s cult-favorite recipes, updated for the times and the seasons. For us, the night we went: an impeccable vitello tonnato topped with an avocado cream and fried capers; the timeless Richelieu boudin where the had-been sauce was remastered with powerful herby notes; before the imperial tranquility of a chilled orange soufflé. Other pretty legends seen in the distance: a mosaic of foie gras and red mullet over a bouillabaisse jelly, and the gilt-head bream with an eggplant charlotte… // R.deC.
