It was a good job that Mamie Paulette passed down her passion for good food to her grandson, Arnaud Fallet. And in turn, he pays tribute to her at this atmospheric bistro (exposed stone walls, antique furniture, a terrace-veranda), where you might enjoy something like a tasty tuna tataki with sesame seeds, tender beef tagliata seasoned with lemon oil and a potato crumble, plump gnocchi with purple artichokes in a jus de barigoule, and, for dessert, banoffee or almond milk and mango tapioca. Yum! // L.S.
