In this cute bistro (hanging light bulbs, school chairs, a yellow tile bar), Fanny and François Lemarié have been putting all of nature’s colors in boxes, bottles and on the plates for the last three years. (Re)discover it all at apéro time, when the tide of tapas washes over the terrace: potbellied Juridon beans with lemon zest and roasted cauliflower with green tahini (€6); orgiastic Kintoa pork sausage with mashed potatoes and pickled onions (€15); perfect leek-kale salad sprinkled with toasted hazelnuts (€6); plus a mouthwatering slice of chocolate lava cake for dessert (€6). There’s plenty to choose from in terms of wine as well: Va Te Faire Boire, a red Bergerac from the Château Lestignac (€5.50 a glass), Barbaste, a Chardonnay from the Mas des Agrunelles (€18 a bottle), Akoibon, a Roussillon red from the Domaine Yoyo (€26), Coccigrues, a Saint-Chinian from Yannick Pelletier (€23). Dish of the day €12, set menus €16-19 (lunch), plates €3-18. // N.K.
