Where can you get your paws on Miami’s most glamorous tortillas? At Coyo Taco! After winning over Barack Obama and Serena Williams in Florida, Alan Drummon, Sven Vogtland and Scott Linquist opened another delicious Mexican fast food joint in the center of Paris. The spot in question? It’s got a rather chilly spacecraft feel (stainless steel tubing, concrete details, black banquettes), which is warmed up by bright neon lights and fiery sauces available on the orange tables. The other night, all the classics paraded out! In addition to chunky guacamole and salacious quesadillas, there are tacos made on properly thick corn or flour tortillas, available in a variety of options, including cochinita pibil (roasted pork, achiote, cheese, onions), al pastor (marinated pork, salsa fresca, cheese, cilantro) and pescado frito (pollack tempura, avocado, jalapeños). As for the desserts, there are long churros from the neo-bakery The French Bastards or psychedelicious Glazed popsicles – eg.: pineapple-chili, orange-tequila… // A.A.

FEELING THIRSTY? Bebidas from back home: Pacífico (€6 for 355 ml), frozen margaritas (€9) or a hard-to-find horchata (€4).

PRICE: Set menu €13.50-14.50 (weekday lunch). Guacamole €4.50, tacos €7.50 to €9 for two, quesadillas from €10.50 to €14.
