Expect Greek-style amour at this new place from Thierry Costes, Emmanuel Delavenne and André Saraiva, which is helping their trendy Nice Hôtel get its mojo back. What’s on the menu? A trip across the Mediterranean orchestrated by Alexandros Rallis, who sources Hellenic products from Profil Grec in Paris, alongside chefs Georges Panayes and Stefania Bregianni, who stitch together sunny mezze that’ll have you licking your fingers clean. Devour them on the veranda or under the covers in your hotel room: cheeky zucchini beignets with a yogurt dipping sauce, vivifying white taramasalata, tasty lamb and beef kebab sandwiches on pita bread, colorful Greek salad, lovely tzatziki, and orange cake for dessert. What’s more, the hotel’s rooftop is equipped with a barbecue like you’d expect to find in Kalamata: saganaki-style roasted cheese, braised lamb chops, grilled bluefin tuna…. You won’t leave disappointed! // Eva Sauvage-Harmonie
FEELING THIRSTY? The wine list has been carefully sourced by Vanessa Massé of Pure & V: a Catalan white from Jordi Llorens (€8 a glass), an Auvergne red from Patrick Bouju (€48 a bottle)… Unless you’d prefer one of the cocktails shaken up at the central bar (€12-14).
PRICE: À la carte €9-22, rooftop menu €38.
