Janine can be proud of her grandson David… With experience in the world of beach shacks, fine dining establishments and food trucks, he’s now figured out what’s missing in Bayonne. Namely a traditional-fusion spot that serves food from breakfast through snack time, including the best pancakes in the city! Try them on the terrace or in the neo-industrial dining room – waxed concrete, metal suspension lamps… But really, lunchtime sees the chef gives the best of himself. With five mains and two desserts to choose from, make your order at the kitchen counter. The other day, we went for: a delightful salad combining fried chicken, hummus, lettuce hearts, crumbled feta and honey mustard; a retro yet gourmet chicken galantine with sauce poulette; and a subtle pineapple carpaccio with basil and a speculos whipped cream.
