Don’t let this Chinese joint’s normcore décor (fake stone walls, waiting room furniture, a plasma TV screen) turn you off! Its success has meant the owners have doubled and then tripled down, opening up two other locations in Marseille and Aix. The reason why? Their incredible homemade ravioli, which is boiled and then grilled, prepared in a dozen varieties (pork-zucchini, tofu-omelet-chives, beef-leek…), and served with a spicy soy-chili sauce. But it’s also thanks to their fresh noodles made in house and stir-fried in a wok (dressed in a secret sauce with soy beans, Chinese cabbage and minced carrots), the lovely broccoli and black mushroom salad, the rather crunchy cucumber with garlic, and the red bean or black sesame dumplings for dessert. // G.LeP.
