Inside this peaceful old-fashioned spot, Aline does just about everything herself: she cooks, chats with customers and takes the orders. The other day at lunch, amongst the kitsch details and postcards pinned to the walls, the blackboard menu had a simple and funky €14 option: as an appetizer, a smart apple and beetroot salad made fresh that morning; a hearty rougail sausage stew for the main; and to finish, a refreshing cardamom flan.
