Thirteen years after launching La Cantinetta, the success story on Cours Julien, Stéphanie Nardoca and Pierre-Antoine Denis opened up Otto near Saint-Giniez. In this elegant trattoria with pale green walls, padded benches, opaline bulbs and a polarizing terrace, come for a taste of la dolce vita, from the antipasti to the pasta! The other day at lunch: a magnificently bare burrata in a generous tomato coulis with garlic; a well-dressed tuna tartare; a lovely raw Roman-style artichoke salad sprinkled with pecorino; mezze maniche (mini rigatoni with eggplant, tomato and mint) with creamy ricotta; emblematic linguine alle vongole with loads of parsley; before some authentic panettone French toast. // N.K.

FEELING THIRSTY? Natural transalpine wines: a Ligurian red from Rupestro (€6 a glass), a Sardinian 6 Mura (€48 a bottle), an Etna white from Alberto Graci (€48)…

PRICE: À la carte €30-45.
