SEASONS FOOD TRUCK
With a rather folk vibe, the French Citroën HY white van owned by Margot and Tristan has been transformed into a very cool food truck… Inside this rickety old sheet-metal wagon, you won’t find beef and carrot stew or whole roasted fish, but instead some divine finger-licking treats for global eaters that are inspired by the sailor shirt-wearing couple’s Australian travels: well rolled wraps made on homemade tortillas, filled with crunchy butternut squash veggie balls, pickled red onion and a yogurt-dill sauce (€5); a healthy salad of whole wheat spaghetti, carrot/green cabbage/turmeric/tahini coleslaw, feta and sweet potato chips (€6); plump English muffins filled with shredded chicken and dates, cinnamon, peanut butter, radish and a yogurt-tarragon sauce (€6); or a dessert that’s as yellow as the sun, a stunning juicy lemon curd/coconut shortbread tartelette (€2.50). The van runs on sparkling water (€1) and delicious apple juice (€1.50 a glass). Set menus €8-10. // M.J.-D.
