The thirst-quenching, hunger-satisfying team behind the Liquid Corp restaurant group, led by Alexis Poirson (who already runs the bars Moonshiner and Dirty Dick, and the pizzerias Louie Louie and Da Vito) is currently putting a sublime new twist on the bodega experience! At SuperFrais, a corner shop with pink lettering and eye-catching neon lights, we found all of the following the day we went: melons, tomatoes and peppers grown on French soil, legumes sold in bulk in pretty jars, Superbon chips from Madrid, rillettes from Maison Verot, Meurisse chocolate bars that are as beautiful as they are delicious…. Along with organic, eco-friendly cleaning products, cookbooks in the bookshop section, and even wine on tap that you can either sip at the bar or bottle up and take home.
