This place is a cross between a coffee shop, an organic café and a brunch spot… not to mention the hairdresser upstairs! Opened in 2020 by Emmanuelle Rossi and Lucie Cases in a former florist shop with a 1950s-tile facade, Bazar Café brings together blonde wood tables, a bar topped with all kinds of goodies and cozy corners with very hygge decor. What should you expect to find à la carte, prepared by chef Sylvain Herrera? Brunch featuring some incredible chestnut flour pancakes, outstanding avocado toast, homemade pastries or brioche French toast made with coconut milk; gigantic bowls of the day at lunchtime that are as tasty as they are pretty (cauliflower sprinkled with sumac, Colombo-spiced polenta, roasted eggplant, almond and green olive tapenade, leg of lamb slow-roasted in honey); inspired burgers (tuna tataki, wasabi mayonnaise, avocado); yummy desserts (raspberry chia pudding with baobab powder and a raspberry coulis; pear and plum compote with jujube…). // Albertine Simonet

FEELING THIRSTY? Organic L’Autre Thé teas (€3.50), classic matcha (€5), Lomi coffee (€1.80 to €3.60) and a few natural wines: Vins des Potes, a Languedoc wine available in red or white, L’Abrunet, a Spanish rosé from Frisach (€4.50 a glass, €23 a bottle).
