A few animated souvenirs from La Cafête Nationale. This international culinary deployment, monomaniac and made with the Fooding sauce, took over Edgar last July 14th in order to celebrate hors d’oeuvres in all their varied forms, with a cast of international chefs.
On the menu: the “Ricard hot râpé,” an hors-d’oeuvrier ritual created by Katsuaki Okiyama, the Japanese chef from Abri (given the 2013 Le Fooding Guide Crush award), totally British savories by Lee Tiernan (St John Bread & Wine, London), radical mezze by Kamal Mouzawak (Tawlet, Beirut), barricades of herrings and rice pudding by Xavier Thiery (Edgar, Paris)!
