NUMBER OF ROOMS: 3 villas
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round
THE STORY: Michèle and Emmanuel, a couple from the Aveyron, didn’t build these three designer homes roughly one hundred meters from their restored farmhouse in order to outshine the old stone architecture this rustic region is known for, but rather to provide a different type of accommodation. And it wasn’t such a risky bet really, given that these very modern villas have been booked solid since their inauguration in the spring of 2015. Each 125 square meter house includes two sleeping areas (4 bedrooms in total) separated by a big living area, so that two families can easily share the space without stepping on each other’s toes. Bonuses: each house is oriented to the South and has a private pool! Starting at €680 for two nights, with an 8-person maximum capacity.
TOILETRIES: Organic Magie de l’Aubrac soap, made with plants collected on the plateau.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
MINI-BAR: No, but a basket filled with local products (apple juice, rosé from Estaing, Ruthéna coffee) is graciously provided by your hosts.
LITTLE LUXURY: In addition to the two terraces, the spa and the individual pool for each house, there’s a common area with a ping-pong table available.
