Overlooking the town of Saint-Tropez, the Hôtel Ermitage has some unexpected virtues hidden between its walls: a Thai restaurant called TIGrr Indochine, karaoke for wild evenings, and name-dropping bedrooms designed by Jean Pigozzi, Christian Louboutin, Chloé Sevigny and Olivier Zahm to name a few, which are filled with the very best design pieces from the 1950s – Mathieu Matégot, Jean Prouvé, EttoreSottsass, etc. Expect views of the sea and the citadel, along with an incredible terrace located just five minutes from the Place des Lices. Double rooms from €160 to €850 a night.
