THE STORY: After Fahrenheit Seven in Val Thorens, the Vidoni and De Unger families bought the old Hôtel des Cimes Blanches in Courchevel, and transformed it into this hotel. Even more intimate than its older brother (with a mere 66 bedrooms), Fahrenheit Seven Courchevel skillfully mixes coziness with details from the 1970s (vintage rotary phones, thick carpeting, mustard yellow and pine green tones, cushions everywhere you look…). But it’s also an excellent ski-in/ski-out spot, ideally located on the Courchevel 1650 snowfront. Double rooms starting at €250 a night, duplex room (for five people) from €400 to 890.
TOILETRIES: Rituals soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
INTERNET: Wifi (free)
BREAKFAST: Included, with unlimited coffee or tea, bread, brioche and croissants, pain au chocolates, artisanal jams, fruit juices, fresh fruits, mueslis, cereals, yogurts, cheeses, rice pudding, charcuterie and eggs (for an additional price).
LITTLE LUXURY: The south-facing terrace at the Rôtisserie restaurant, a perfect spot for working on your tan and watching skiers zip down the slopes.
