THE STORY: Given a facelift recently by interior designer François Champsaur, the Hôtel Bailli de Suffren has maintained its 60s/70s look but has a fresh new Mediterranean feel. The luminous space is decorated with a beach cabana vibe (strips of whitewashed wood, transparent white cotton curtains, an azure-colored ceiling, sleek wooden furniture) and the rooms all have views of the sea… sometimes even directly from the bed! In addition to its excellent location right on the beach, the establishment also includes three restaurants, a spa and a freshwater pool overlooking a creek. A taste of paradise. Double rooms starting at €250 a night.

SPA: Spa by Carita with treatments starting at €58 for 25 minutes.
