NUMBER OF ROOMS: 25 rooms
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round

THE STORY: These days, twenty-five hotel rooms fill the “Bric-à-Brac” villa, one of Dinard’s cult spots, a former marine research station set up by the Museum of Natural History in 1934. For the entrepreneur spearheading this large-scale project – an entrepreneur with a passion for sustainable development – renovating this 19th century building without distorting it was an imperative. Even if it meant modifying their initial plans as they made some beautiful discoveries along the way, like the original entrance, accessible after a flight of stairs. Cozy and eclectic, glamorized by Sandra Benhamou with 1930’s-inspired style, the bedrooms, which all have ocean views, start at €285 a night during low season and €410 during peak season.

TOILETRIES: Thémaé shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Continental breakfast (€24) with viennoiseries, bread, brioches, cakes, freshly squeezed juices, coffee or tea, Bordier yogurts and fromage blanc, fruit salad, fresh fruit, cheese plate, charcuterie. €24 breakfast formula with eggs, pancakes, crêpes, charcuterie, smoked salmon and ham for an extra fee.
MINI-BAR: Free mineral water, organic fries, salted and sweet snacks.
LITTLE LUXURY: Le Fou de Bassan, the hotel’s French vaporetto boat, takes guests on rides along the coast in springtime and summertime.
