On the morning of Friday December 8th, the Jingle Belge pop-up will open to the public with great fanfare. The perfect opportunity to shop an unprecedented selection of limited edition products over the course of three days.

On the evening of Friday December 8th, Flanders will be showing what it’s made of, with a cozy dinner, prepared for thirty lucky guests by Alberte and mixologized by Jigger’s – two Fooding faves who are traveling from Ghent for the occasion – all beautifully packaged by the Degrenne tableware house. First come, first served… If you want tickets, head this way!

On Saturday, December 9th, the Jingle Belge pop-up will be back in full swing… But that’s not all: in addition to shopping a selection of original, top-notch products, you can sit down for Le Petit Mercado’s massive weekly brunch, orchestrated this time with their friends from the restaurant Liesse… What’s on the menu? A delicious beer can chicken roasted over La Mule x Nestor beer, perfect for sharing with friends! Plus hash browns, mac and cheese croquetas, toasted brioche… If you want a seat make sure to call Le Petit Mercado (practical info below)!

On December 10th, Sunday brunchers can indulge in a second roast chicken party, before setting their watches to the carefully curated selection of vintage timepieces put together by Clockbusters. If you want a seat make sure to call Le Petit Mercado (practical info below)!

And since there’s no such thing as a Christmas market without goodies to tuck under the tree, Le Fooding has put together an exclusive selection of mouth-watering gifts made in collaboration with artisans and restaurants from Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders: delectable kari gosse curry salted caramel spread by Badi; comforting Christmas cake from the Antwerp bakery Leo; chocolate praline bombs by Ghent-based chocolate maker Deduytschaever; almond and chocolate granola to wake up with by Le Petit Mercado; cocktail and mocktail syrup made with wild-foraged ingredients by Spa-based bar Botèye; extra spicy SWET hot sauce collector packs; Tuck Shop branded palate-sharpening sweet chili sauce; perfect-for-any-holiday-table onion confit from Must, Le 203‘s saucy side project; sultry charred pear chutney from Alberte; or an incredible veal and fennel ragù for pasta addicts prepared by Altro Maccheroni. All that, in addition to ceramic mugs crafted by Terres de Rêves. Not to mention Le Fooding’s Belgium guide, brimming with highly recommendable addresses, and the brand-new French edition of the guide for your future cross-Quiévrain escapades!
