NUMBER OF ROOMS: 5 double rooms, plus the Petite Maison (accommodates four)
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round

THE STORY: After Tilly and Will left to seek out new adventures further south, at the Domaine de Capiès, Le Trésor has found a new British innkeeper, Jules Douglas. The big house with green shutters, a view of the village church and the surrounding hills has been given a beautiful facelift: walls revamped with Farrow & Ball, Indian doors framing the mirrors, sheets from Sri Lanka, a backgammon board purchased in Oman, cozy sofas, four-poster beds, bouquets of fresh flowers on the mantelpieces, an English garden where you can sip your cup of tea or your glass of red wine…. Double rooms starting at €95 a night. It’s also possible to rent out the whole building (for 10 people), or the Petite Maison for four (from €140 to €170 a night, from €750 to €950 a week). Practical too, Le Trésor also runs a table-d’hôte-style restaurant three times a week, and offers up platters of artisanal charcuterie and cheeses at apéritif hour, with salad and fruits, every night except Sunday.
