From the field to the plate, from the pitchfork to the fork… This group of roughly 30 farmers (many of whom practice organic agriculture) are changing things up, despite being somewhat isolated in a commercial-industrial zone. For 11 years now, their fresh products have been making mouths water: lemons, padrones, nashi pears, heirloom tomatoes, etc., rub shoulders with organic meats and charcuterie from the Ferme des Pradets, lamb from the Gaec du Cady and sheep’s milk cheese from Prats-de-Mollo. What else will you find? Plump olives from Lucques (€5.50 for 200 g), organic olive oils from the Domaine Laffon, almond-hazelnut spread (€8 for 150 g), jams and honey (rhododendron, white heather), sorbets from Les Vergers du Mont Canigou, Alain Milliat organic pomegranate juice, organic bread of the day and low-intervention wines… // Adrien Nouviaire

The hidden gem: The saffron from Les Aspres (€9 for 0.20 g).
