NUMBER OF ROOMS: Ten cabins for two to eight guests and nine tents for two to four guests
ANNUAL CLOSURE: From November to April
THE STORY: On the dazzling Côte Vermeille, under the pines that dominate the coastline along the Crique de Collioure, Léa and Grégoire Weber (the former boss of the Domaine de la Vitarelle) set out to open their shared seaside dream: a chambre d’hôte named Alma. What should you expect? A smattering of wooden cabins and cream-colored cotton tents that blend into the background for the ultimate bohemian camping experience, with stunning views of the Mediterranean. Inside the wood-paneled cabins, unpack your backpack in a tidy space equipped with a shower, a cute kitchenette and a private terrace… If you opt to spend the night under one of the canvas tents, there’s no shortage of luxuries: each one comes equipped with an outdoor lounge space, a comfortable bed, a mini-fridge and even outlets to charge your devices. And it’s all just a few minutes from the Plage de l’Ouille! Your only neighbors will be the seagulls, sea urchins and L’Imprévue, the restaurant where you can dine with waves practically lapping at your feet. In short, star treatment for a night under the stars! Cabins starting at €160 a night, tents starting at €140 a night.
TOILETRIES: Les Essentiels soap.
INTERNET: Wifi at the front desk.
BREAKFAST: Coffee, tea, fruit juices, pain au chocolats, croissants, tartines and fresh fruit – €15 for the cabins; included in the price of the tents.
