THE STORY: Up on the hill above the indomitable Baie de Collioure, you’ll find the Hôtel Les Roches Brunes: a singular building, formerly known as Les Caranques, which was taken over in the spring of 2021 by Isabelle Courty and Cédric Siré, a couple from the Roussillon who fell in love with the region. Camouflaged behind the stone pines, tamarinds, olive trees and brown rocks after which the hotel was named, there are eighteen discreet and distinguished bedrooms dressed in neutral tones (ochre, linen, cream, terra cotta…), which let the Mediterranean’s immensity shine through. Those picture-perfect views will grace every moment of your stay, from breakfast in the dining room to the glass of wine on the terrace, and even during your shower in the sleekly designed bathrooms, or as you wake up in the cozy beds… A memorable stay for the last few days of summer! Double rooms starting at €200 a night.
