NUMBER OF ROOMS: 1 gite for 7 people

THE STORY: The founders of the home goods website Les Petites Emplettes, Isabelle and Hubert, left greater Paris in 2013 in order to renovate a romantic château with two towers (dating from the 12th and 15th centuries) on an 8-hectare estate. After transforming the barn into a spectacular event space, the new and very creative castle owners turned their home into a rustic paradise, with direct access to the prairie. Walls with patina, old tomette tile floors, ochre tones, décor objects, natural materials… everything was carefully studied to create a chic bohemian ambiance in this 115 m2 gite, with a big living room, two bedrooms and a three-bed dormitory. €380 for two nights, €1,250 for the week (breakfast included).
TOILETRIES: Artisanal soap.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Included.
LITTLE LUXURY: Having a snack at the château’s buvette/guinguette outdoor bar, after participating in a décor workshop organized by Isabelle (schedule on lespetitesemplettes.com).
