Beards are a great look for fishermen and hipsters! Jan Kegels and Peter Vlyminck, legends of the Belgian food-truck scene, certainly know what they are talking about, having buccaneered numerous festivals behind the wheel of their vintage 1987 Mercedes. They’ve now parked their trucks and opened a handful of stationary eateries, including the Harbor Café with its blue neon lights, located in the shadow of the Antwerp Cathedral. Jan was born with a fishing net in hand and will never let go, sourcing all his street food goodies from the North Sea: finger-licking guaranteed with the kibbeling (cod nuggets from the Netherlands), fish and chips, crab or shrimp croquettes, and homemade tartare that’ll raise the hairs on your chest! You can even order it all as a burger version, served in plump buns: the cutely named Pimp My Shrimp and Moby Kick are to be guzzled without cutlery or plates, straight from the box, while shoving down a handful of fries. // Kiko Zushi
