Savina Istas may have given the keys to her well-stocked shop to Benjamin Vermeir a few years ago, but Robuust! is still going strong! The same organic, locavore and anti-waste philosophy still applies to the medley of carefully-sourced, plastic-free products which strut their stuff in the bulk bins. Up for grabs: dried fruits, spices and seeds of all kinds, crunchy muesli, golden oils… and even “bouillon powder” – goodbye, individually wrapped cubes! And although you’re encouraged to bring your own containers, you won’t be punished for forgetting, with Kraft paper bags and small glass jars available.
