When it comes to the Eylenbosch family, we’ve got our eye on the son! Senne, to be precise, who back in 2020 revived this brewery originally founded in 1872, which had been lying dormant for over half a century. While his father runs the farm, he and his partner Vincent Alluin open the doors to the former stables every Saturday. A snapshot: big tables surrounded by wine barrels, where you can savor a glass of oude gueuze, a kriek or perhaps even an apple and pear hard cider in total peace. A sanctuary for beer enthusiasts, a weekly haunt for locals or simple fall point for cyclists, Boerenerf hasn’t finished popping off any time soon. // Léa Cruz

The hidden gem: The aforementioned oude gueuze (€5 for 375 ml).
