At this temple to Antwerp beers, Ben Floren and his team are brewing up a storm with their selection of 200 hoppy references and twelve feisty beers on tap. The space? Rather sober for once, with dark parquet floors, lighting which is no brighter, and tables in blond and black wood. Get sucked into a French IPA from Prizm Brewing Co. on tap (€5.50), a pale vegan-friendly Dogs Can’t Look Up straight from the Brits over at Pomona Island (€6), or even a precious Pannepot Reserva 2008 aged in oak barrels (€14 for 330 ml) by the Belgians at De Struise Brouwers – perhaps a little too vintage, but it reminds us why we come here: to learn about beers, and to knock ‘em back – both in equal measure. Less essential, but downright enjoyable all the same, are the Brandt & Levie saucisson (€9.80) or the refined farmhouse cheese from Kaasboerderij Mulders (€6.80). // Louis Sipido
