Don’t mind the 1950s facade with “Charcuterie Corniquel” scrawled out on it… Because behind it is one of the best natural wine shops in Paris! Even after all these years, its founder Cyril Bordarier still brings together the crème de la crème of sulfite-free wines (Pfifferling, Nicq, Mosse, Dutraive…), available by both the normal-sized bottle (Hanami, a Saumur-Champigny from Sébastien Bobinet at €16.90, Auguste, a Burgundy red from Julien Guillot at €48), and as magnums (Fer de Sang, an Aveyron wine from Nicolas Carmarans for €58, Désiré, a Cheverny from Hervé Villemade at €70…). Plus a few craft beers (Cantillon, Brasserie des Voirons) and well-chosen spirits (Bercloux whiskey, pomace brandy from the Distillerie du Petit Grain…). // A.A.

The bullet-proof bottle: Rozeta, a 2016 Corbières from Maxime Magnon (€58 for a magnum).

Late-night munchies?
