Inside this cheeky wine bar, lovers of natural vin(yl) stand shoulder-to-shoulder around the raw concrete bar, while Fabulous Fab, flanked by two giant speakers, mixes Jean Carn, MF Doom, Flakes I… So what’s bringing a little excitement to your taste buds? Wild plates that plunge headfirst into the Mediterranean: unfussy Jewish-style artichokes; a crisp puntarella salad glistening with anchovy vinaigrette; playful duck heart skewers with salsa verde; delicious Provençal stew sprinkled with peanuts and served with wonderfully creamy polenta; and for the final touch to such a lovely moment, an impeccable tarte Tatin or a plump creampuff for dessert. // Niels Kammermann
