When they founded Les Vintrépides in 2016, friends Laurence Dupont and Roberto Fernandez set themselves the goal of converting Liège locals to natural wines, which were still rather unknown along the banks of the Meuse River at the time. The gamble sure paid off! Building on their success, the two bosses have now doubled down on their creations: a range of Ardent Spirits liquors (Apotek gin, amaro, whiskey, rum, vodka, pastis), an exclusive New Vice organic IPA, and an urban wine cellar (Ardent Winery). Inside the boutique located in the Neuvice neighborhood, whose size is inversely proportional to the selection (750 different wines), we spotted house labels designed by Salome Mermoz (Marius or Dissident red Bordeaux wines, and Into the Wine, an Alsatian orange wine), as well as those from the Domaine Humbrecht, Clos Colombu, Les Athlètes du Vin, Domaine Breton and Vino Lauria. // Mireille Snowflake
