For tightened purse strings, small families or short stays, three apartments to rent (from €95 to €115 a night, minimum of two nights, and from €550 to €680 a week), in a nice fishing port. Packed full of little details (woven coutil pillow cases, bamboo mirrors, Smeg refrigerator, vintage petit mousse jackets), every apartment is just too cool.

TOILETRIES: Shower gel and shampoo.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Nespresso coffee maker and basic products in the cupboards.
MINI-BAR: Cider or apple juice available.
LITTLE LUXURY: You can get breakfast baskets or seafood platters delivered from the épicier next door…
