THE STORY: In the garden behind an old grocery store-snack bar, there’s a Swedish “kabane” with a freestanding bathtub and a wood-burning stove. And for a midsummer night’s dream (and for the kid’s amusement), they’ve added a Puck caravan. If you’re feeling too cramped, the Sedard family, along with their cats and dogs, rent out lovely rooms in their farmhouse (€87 to €100 a night). Bonus : the tiny heated pool.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Included, with pastries and bread from the village baker, artisanal apple juice, yogurts and cheeses from Graine des Champs.
LITTLE LUXURY: The new kitchen where you can prepare your own meal.
