NUMBER OF ROOMS: 9 rooms, 2 suites

THE STORY : Camille and Hugues Oeyenleft their jobs in the hospitality industry in Brussels for a crazy gamble, that of rehabilitating an Eurois family estate, including a 15th century manor, a farmhouse and an agricultural terrain. Four years later, they’re running a small hotel with 11 rooms decorated in the Flemish style, along with a grain farm… A dual responsibility for these two thirty-somethings, who are fond of local products, and who want to break with traditional hotel norms. So, guests of Le Manoir are invited to settle into their rooms without stopping by a reception desk first, as if they were arriving at their own home. Rooms from €180 to €240.

TOILETRIES: Hermès shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body balm.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Included. A continental formula, favoring local products — with coffee, Betjeman & Barton tea, artisanal apple juice, viennoiseries, bread, jams, Isigny butter, artisanal yogurts, freshly made fruit salad. However, the breakfast is billed at €17 if the guests used a reservation website to book their stay.
MINI-BAR: No. Still, guests are invited to make their own coffee and tea in the library, or to serve themselves a glass of another beverage at the honesty bar (making a note of any drinks that were consumed).
LITTLE LUXURY: The Cinq Mondes spa, which has a variety of massages and high-end treatments at sweet prices: €70/hour.
