THE STORY: At the foot of the Val Thorens slopes in the immense ski resort of Les Trois Vallées, you’ll find the Hôtel Marielle standing tall against the mountains. This proud neo-Savoyard chalet is run by the Assas group and named after ski legend Marielle Goitschel. Eighty-three luminous, spacious bedrooms welcome ski bunnies, with everything from intimate doubles (light hardwood floors, carpeted walls, tiled bathrooms) to family suites – equipped with bunkbeds for the kids, and balconies overlooking the estate’s highest peaks. And for fun all day long: hot chocolate on the sunny terrace in the mornings, chic lunches at M, the hotel’s restaurant, and après-ski cocktails at the gold-hued bar… Enough to move mountains! Double rooms starting at €150 a night.
BREAKFAST: Nuxe soap, shampoo and body wash.
TOILETRIES: An all-you-can-eat buffet to start your day on the right foot, including coffee, tea, fruit juices, viennoiseries, bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, charcuterie and cheese…
LITTLE LUXURY: Lounge in the incredible Nuxe spa (there’s a steam room, a sauna, plus massages and treatments available) after a long day on the slopes!
