They’re no longer vin years old… and yet! Childhood friends Sébastien Delorme (who goes by Richard), Nicolas Murawka (aka Mur) and Martial Girodet (Mart) have pooled their forces to run this bar at full throttle – a no-snob watering hole that never talks down to anyone… not even the folks from Saint-Etiénne, their beloved football rivals. Between postcard-plastered walls plastered, an Olympique Lyonnais soccer scarf and wine bottles lined up like trophies, the team serves up all sorts of additive-free wines, with options rotating regularly – like Ravala, an Alsatian riesling from Raisin Sauvage (€7 a glass), or a poulsard from Damien Guadagnolo (€54 a bottle). Off the booze? Symples alcohol-free sparkling infusions keep things lively (basil, blackcurrant, spearmint, €6 for 330 ml). In the open kitchen, Richard also whips up mouth-watering small plates: Kalamata olive tapenade (€5.50), Jura tomme cheese (€8), cucumber, daikon and carrot salad with chili sauce and fresh herbs (€8) or gochujang duck hearts sprinkled with crushed peanuts (€10). · Ama Pola
