Keeping cool, Julia Canu and Tiago Barbosa (Único, Minnà) are continuing their sweet, frozen adventures in Lyon at this tiny, tutti frutti ice cream shop located along the banks of the Saone River. The pitch? Every day, discover four local flavors made with milk, Bresse cream and fresh fruits… and that’s all folks! For a touch of eccentricity, there are creative toppings to choose from: the kiwi sorbet takes on a pavlova feel with yogurt espuma and pieces of the same fruit; the apple cider sorbet gets a Breton edge once its covered in roasted apples, cider caramel and buckwheat-almond cookie crumble. FYI: classics from the Minnà pastry shop (vacherin, Baked Alaska, cream puffs, panettone) and take-away Único ice cream are also available. // Marie Salmon
