Located just a few meters from the Saint-Just basilica, Thierry Poincin and Julien Gangand preach their gospel on RadioVino, a web radio station devoted to wine – with a penchant for low-intervention wine in particular. Their sanctuary of choice? A long wine shop, built from church stones to stay on theme, featuring well-stocked shelves on one side, tanks of wine on the other, and a windowed recording studio in the mezzanine section – in short, everything you need to delight your ears and your taste buds. Choose between 250 naturalist bottles, including a few from the Bugey-based collective La Fiancée du Picrate; Beaujolais wines from David Large; Ne Fais Pas Sans Blanc, an Ardèche chardonnay-grenache blanc from Sylvain Bock; or even a Coteaux-d’Ancenis from Jacques Février… In addition to some delightful eats for your apéro hours: Bok pâté, saucisson, jésus and morteau sausages from Grosjean butchers in Arbois, or briny snacks from Conserverie Jean de Luz. // John Mason
THE BULLET-PROOF BOTTLE: The lovely Gard white blend from Louis Julian (made from 15 different varietals!) – sold directly from the tank, so you can bring home as much as you like (€5.50 for 750 ml)!
