Fromage from Lyon! Anaïs Duraffourg (the daughter of Comté producers, who later trained at La Laiterie de Paris) opened this beautiful urban creamery in 2020, where she makes and sells her own cheeses and yogurts with her partner Émilie Bruyère and cheesemaker Lucas Clément. Produced using good, organic milk from the agricultural cooperative Le Mas d’Illins, located around 20 kilometers outside of the city: yogurts with mouthwatering flavors, creamy skyr yogurt, halloumi and – the star of the house – Le Petit Pont, a cheese similar to Saint-Marcellin that owes its ripe flavor to a fungus present in the Rhone air. Not to mention the other aged cheeses: smoked gouda, incredible Saint-Nectaire, gorgonzola scooped up with a spoon… Want something to go with all that? There’s also natural Séléné Beaujolais-Village from Sylvère Trichard, honeys, jams, terrines and pâtés made from pasture-raised pigs from the Ferme d’Anaïs… // Marie Quetsche
The hidden gem: Some very interesting yogurts that smell of summer, infused with lemon verbena or lavender (€4 for a 450 g jar).
