A pita, a kebab or a kefta as the perfect hangover cure? At Bizim Kebap, the meat roasting on the spit is prepared fresh daily, made with top quality beef marinated in yogurt and a secret spice mix, before being generously brushed with the juicy fat. But the picturesque wall fresco leaves us wondering: showing up at this place to indulge in such tasty meats the morning after the night before would be such a waste, right? Our thoughts are interrupted by a pita with sambal sauce, immediately topped with extra kefta and Turkish peppers. A head’s up for late risers: the house only spins one spit a day, so it’s best not to dilly dally! // Louis Sipido
