Already at the helm of the Oyster Club seafood bistros in Dinard and Paris, Adèle Grunberger and Tanguy Thomassin set sail for the coast and set up their cabana in a peaceful spot with hardwood floors and vintage furniture. With colorful views of the Saint-Sieu beach, savor the region’s good eats, served raw or cleverly cooked. The day we went for lunch, the blackboard menu featured all of the following: perfectly prepared langoustines served with an incredible mayonnaise dipping sauce; impressively fresh cockles stuffed with garlic, parsley and Bordier butter; marinated sardines with a kick of shichimi (a Japanese seven-spice mix) and tender fries; crispy octopus croquettes with salsa verde; before a buckwheat-apple cake (that was a little less impressive than the rest) and a golden chocolate chip cookie, both of which were paired with some delicious whipped cream. Bonus in the months of July and August: the cabana also serves artisan ice creams, pastries and cones of homemade fries to go. // Henriette Ma
