Photo gallery, natural-wine bar, upscale eatery… Studio Cluster nails the art of the hybrid space! Nestled in an eighteenth-century townhouse in the old De Groote Engel building, this bright space with a sunny yellow bar effortlessly blends coffee, art and wine. At the counter, Thomas Hunter (ex-Rush Rush) pulls the perfect double espresso straight from the Marzocco, while Lore Horré (ex-Meteor) pops open a mineral Silex from Jacky Preys or a Czech pét nat from Vinařství Tři Čtvrtě to quench thirsts. While over in the kitchen, a short, sharp menu is busy in the works: ricotta with anchovy and grated egg yolk; hand-cut steak tartare; burrata with zucchini drizzled in wild garlic oil; and sourdough with whipped shallot butter… All topped off with pop-up exhibitions that rotate regularly. · Bobbi Rossi
