Antwerp’s pasta lovers have found their new HQ! Giorgio Longo and Delphine Worms, already behind Cannolo and Arrikiiati, had the good sense to open a third spot on bustling Lange Koepoortstraat, just a short stroll from the cathedral. Inside this trattoria, with its petrol-blue tiles and bistro tables, all eyes are on the open kitchen, where simple, crowd-pleasing Italian cooking takes shape, with fresh pasta leading the charge. From the sun-drenched terrace that day: a perfectly runny poached egg with baby cucumbers in vinaigrette and gently spiced chorizo, served alongside fluffy house focaccia; creamy ricotta cannelloni drenched in sauce; and to finish, the signature cannolo that nobody in their right mind skips. Top tip? The white ragù lasagna served every domenica. A tavola! · Ross Beef
Feeling thirsty? Kick things off with an Etna Spritz (€11.50 a glass), then move on to Delphine’s well-curated selection of natural wines, including a trio of Valdibella wines from Siciliy (€5 a glass, €25 a liter) and Giandon, an orange wine from Il Farneto (€42 a bottle). For something cooler, there’s Tomarchio Sicilian lemonade (€4.80 for 275 ml) or the house pistachio beverage (€5 per glass).
Price: Breakfast €13-16, antipasti €8-18, pasta €20-24, desserts €7-10.
