Célice Bardy has been unearthing stinky cheeses for ages. And now she finally gave up her job in fashion to take over this legendary cheese shop on Rue Antonelle, with its bright red awning and tiled floors. There, you can sniff some raw milk Pont-l’Évèque, Comté aged for 24 months, summer Beaufort or Brillat-Savarin, along with other treats (Bordier butters, Carré des Huiles olive oil, local rosemary honey from the Blochet family…). And to go with all of that, a few rarities for discerning palates, like the Boulette d’Avesnes or the Carublu, a blue cheese aged in rum and sprinkled with bitter cacao powder… // Gwen Jacquère
The hidden gem: A brick of Sakura No~Ha goat cheese, aged in the Poitou (€10.90 a piece).
