Smack dab between two hipster coffee shops on Rue des Gravilliers, besties Isabella Losada De Armas and Morgane Lovero, who first met at Café Nuances, dreamt up Pulpa, a cross between an artisan deli and a fine foods shop – basically, it’s a veritable treasure trove for dedicated foodies! You’re almost guaranteed to find something you’ll love from their selection of canned goods, quality bottles, spices and other delicacies that fill the shelves of this small shop. The added bonus? Inside their on-site workshop attached to the shop itself, the duo cook up seasonal tarts and cookies, savory dishes and homemade condiments: ketchup, BBQ sauce, chili oil, pickles, jams, fruit syrups… Nothing but good things! The day we went, we filled our shopping tote up with all of the following: Dohatsu beef broth, Plaq chocolate, pearl onions in homemade vinaigrette; apricot and lemon verbena tartlet, and a bottle of Chinon produced by Nicolas Gonnin. // Jane In
THE HIDDEN GEM: An indecent homemade Madagascar vanilla dulce de leche (€9 for a 225-gram jar).
