Behind a discreet façade lies this hybrid hideaway for discerning drinkers, tucked into an old motorcycle workshop just a stone’s throw from Les Catalans. After setting the internet abuzz with vibrant wines and carefully sourced beverages, Sarah Armitano launched this 2.0 version, letting you enjoy the goods IRL: an 80 m² spot combining wine bar, indie grocery and coffee shop, complete with a sunny patio and a long counter, the perfect place to raise a glass, sip a coffee or grab a bite in good company. What’s stocked? A lineup of bottles made using organic, natural or biodynamic methods, from some twenty committed winemakers: cheeky varieties like Sun Is Shining, a muscat petit grain and muscat of Alexandria by Aozina in Roussillon (€21 a bottle), or Palooza, a Pays d’Oc red from Aubert and Matthieu (€9.50). Very cold beers include Légende D’Agrumes from Soif du Vendangeur (€12.50 for 750 ml), alongside La Plaine pastis (€33), chic sodas and sophisticated no-low options. Come lunchtime, Arnaud Malka’s fresh and clever menu hits the spot: a classic jambon-beurre sandwich (€7.50); green lentil salad with butternut squash, poached egg and whipped feta (€13); or grilled chicken leg with bulgur, sweet potato, warmly spiced broth and raisins (€15). By night, the menu switches to small plates to share, like ajo blanco with pickled tomatoes and pumpkin seeds (€5-10). And feast your eyes on the fine foods selection: Madrid-style chips, Les Niçois spreads, Jajaja tortillas, Chimac sauces to jazz up your platter like a pro, and even apéro starter packs to upgrade your evening. · Pedro Rascaille
